The whisper of the aspen trees rustled peacefully in the growing darkness, accompianied by the tender and comforting sound of water running nearby. A gray aud flicked forward, straining desperately to catch the sound of a moving creatures; strong muzzle scented the air cautiously as the handsome brute strode into full view, his golden eyes staring at the thickening twilight, beginning to dapple with stars. His body, plastered with the hues of fog, pearl and ebony, tensed as he caught the regal smell of an alpha lingering nearby...
Thinking this must be the border, Kauzith sighed and beat himself silently for wandering into the territory of another pack. "Gosh, I'm really bad at this whole 'stay out of trouble' thing, aren't I?" he chuckled, walking lightly towards the stream and glancing around before lowering his alabaster muzzle to the liquid crystal. If I'm here, might as well take a drink, he reasoned simply, letting the cool liquid flow from his jaws to his throat. He only wonderer how long it would be until the alpha found him out.
